Wearing the Poppy with Pride this Remembrance Day
Honouring those who served, and supporting veterans today.
Every year on the 11th of November, people across the UK and beyond pause to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served in our Armed Forces. The poppy has become an enduring symbol of remembrance, hope, and unity - worn with pride to honour the fallen and those who continue to serve today.
At RUFFNEK®, we wanted to create something simple yet meaningful to mark this important day - a design that allows people to show their support in a practical and respectful way. Our Poppy Snood features the iconic red poppy on a black background - a timeless emblem of remembrance.
Made from our signature seamless recycled microfibre, it’s comfortable, lightweight, and versatile - ideal for wearing during walks, outdoor events, or simply as a daily show of respect.
It’s also important to remember the animals who served alongside our troops - the horses, dogs, pigeons, and many others who played vital roles in times of war. Their bravery, loyalty, and sacrifice saved countless lives, and they too deserve our gratitude and remembrance. From the horses that carried soldiers into battle and pulled supplies to safety, to the messenger pigeons that delivered crucial information, these animals gave everything in service.
Whether you wear a traditional paper poppy or choose a fabric design, what matters most is the meaning behind it - remembering and honouring all who gave so much. This November, we’ll be wearing ours with pride.
During the month of November, RUFFNEK® will donate 10% from every Poppy Snood sold to The Royal British Legion, supporting their invaluable work with veterans and their families.
