Payment, Returns & Refund Policy


Payment Methods

We accept the following express payment methods on our website; PayPal; Visa, Mastercard, American Express (AMEX) and Discover credit cards.  We also accept ShopifyPay (Powered by Stripe), Apple Pay and GooglePay. 

Please note: You will only see the Apple Pay option when you visit our store using Safari on iOS 10 or MacOS Sierra.  You will also need to be actively signed into your Apple Pay account.

If you are unsure which payment method to use, or are having difficulties paying, then please do get in touch and we will be happy to assist.

Email us if you are in a different time zone and we will get back to you along with a link to your order so you can easily pick up where you left off. 




We offer FREE UK delivery on all our RUFFNEK® scarves, and are all dispatched the same working day (if ordered before noon), or the next working day thereafter. We use Royal Mail 48hr (RM48) which tracks delivery. 

If your order is more urgent then you can opt for First Class Royal Mail 24hr (RM24) at a small charge of £1.90, again this service is tracked. Royal Mail can not guarantee this service so if it is important that it does arrive the next day then you can opt for RM Guaranteed next day delivery. 



We charge a small flat fee for European orders of £2.80 and £3.50 to the rest of the world. We also have the option for a tracking service. 

We use Royal Mail for both our UK and International delivery and this can take up to 5 working days for Europe and 7-14 working days for the rest of the world.

We have been given this advice from Royal Mail so please do note:

**Each country has their own duties and taxes, so you are responsible for any incurred fees when you receive your order.**

Orders between 10 - 150 Euros are likely to be charges Import Tax and a handling fee.

Orders over 150Euros customers are likely to be charged Import Tax, handling fee AND a customs Charge.

Please note that during busy times, such as Christmas, Royal Mail advise that deliveries can take longer due to the volume of post they receive, so do order in advance to allow for any delays.


We are confident that you will love your new RUFFNEK® scarf, however if for any reason you wish to return it then you may do so by following the details below;

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn and within the original packaging you received it in, and in a re saleable condition.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item and will process your refund straight away.
Your credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.  Depending on your payment method this may take a few working days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.



We will replace items that are defective/damaged with our apologies and are happy to exchange an unwanted designs with another pattern, only if they have been unworn and folded back in the original packaging for re sale purposes.  

We do our best to check the quality of our orders but there may be an occasion where a few have printing defects and have slipped passed quality control.  If this does occur then please do contact us, we may ask you to send it back, and we will send you a replacement right away with our apologies, we will either send you a return envelope or will refund you for the return postage.  Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please mark clearly your name and order number so we can locate your order to refund you.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. It is advisable that you obtain proof of postage from the post office (this is free of charge with Royal Mail) as we can not be held responsible for items lost in the post.

If you are returning an item over £25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
